Dion and I are driving to Santa Fe, New Mexico. This trip is a family event. We usually attend Santa Fe to support my father, Eugene Tapahe, in his artwork at the Southwest American Indian Art Market. Dion and I are invited as panelists for the Red Nation International Film Festival. Saturday and Sunday cleared out to help with setup/take down, marketing, and running any last minute errands needed for Eugene Tapahe’s booth. Dion and I are also jingle dress dancing on Saturday , August 21, evening at the SWAIA Gala, Art Auction and Fashion Show. We are dancing in honor and remembrance of all artists and their family members who passed away due to COVID.
